So I was volunteering at the Grand Cinema the other night, and another volunteer and I were talking about The Smurfs. I don't know why, but we were. This 14 year old kid was working with us, and he asked "What are Smurfs?" WHAT! I'm way too young to feel that old. We just looked at each other and shook our heads.
Last night was Lori Jo's bachelorette party, and speaking of feeling old, partying till 2 AM just doesn't carry the same spunk as it did a few years ago. We hung out in the room at the Shilo Inn for a bit with our own personal bartender Ruth, then headed to the Melting Pot and indulged on every heavenly food you can imagine drizzled with (drowned in) chocolate or cheese. After we rolled ourselves out of there, two and a half hours later, we headed over to Jazzbones for more liquid refreshment, and enjoyed a great but very loud blues band. Congrats Lori Jo!!
Todays agenda: Sleep and laundry.
